Zenete

I am so excited that we are getting twins! And especially that we will be getting a boy and a girl! It will be fun to see how things are different with boys, but as Eliana has proved....girls are awesome! So, Zenete is our 2nd beautiful little girl. Her Ethiopian name is pronounced "Zen-ah-tay". As far as I can figure out, Zenete is a tribal language of the Berber people of the Sahara, and perhaps has something to do with her heritage.

People have described Zenete to us as very happy and smilely and sweet. One adoptive Mom who brought her older daughters with said that they just fell in love with Zenete. In many of her pictures she seems very thoughtful and calm.

She is also crawling and pulling up on things and can take steps with help. She is a bit smaller than Tesfahun, but everyone who visits says she looks really healthy.
